Cobble Stone Street in Charleston SC

Spring is a perfect time to be in Charleston, SC! Spring weather here requires that you be out enjoying the sunshine, the cool breezes and all of the outdoor activities that keep Charleston buzzing. And we’ve got a couple of those very activities coming up this weekend. Between the start of the well loved Farmer’s Market on Saturday and King Street’s Second Sunday, you’ll have your days covered.

Charleston’s Farmer’s Market transforms Marion Square into a popur meeting spot on Saturday mornings. A perfect place to grab a breakfast crepe and coffee, pick up your week’s supply of fresh, local produce or marvel at all of the crafts made by Charleston artists, it’s where you want to see and be seen.

Meanwhile, the increasingly popular Second Sunday on King will takes place on the second Sunday of each month. Charleston closes down King Street to pedestrian traffic only these Sunday afternoons. Restaurants pull tables and chairs onto sidewalks so that patrons can experience the charm of the city and watch the world go by. Musicians and performers also dot the street throughout the event, providing hours of entertainment for the passersby.
